The Order of Arcanes would like to wish everyone a Happy 2008!

Do not worry! Nothing has changed, in essence. To be quite frank about the entire situation, Tokai realized that it was time to step down and allow for some administrative progression within the order. He has, of course, been awarded the status and rank of Elder, and is always welcome to log whenever he pleases. I would just like to point out that Tokai is the main person who brought this order the stability and ability to move forward that was needed after the "Reign of Terror." For that his leadership will always be remembered not only as great, but also necessary. (Long live Toktok!)

Nari has returned to a position she's held before: that of the Order Leader on this 'promotion.' I have also moved up to Number One.

For those of you concerned about the empty Number Two position, it is going to be filled. Soon. And there is already a short list of names for the position currently in discussion. I promise there is no doom or gloom involved. (Okay maybe a little.)

In any case, that's all I have to say about it. If you have questions, feel free to ask.

ANNOUNCEMENT: For those of you who may not have heard, or who don't often log into RoD, Thoric has recently sold off the domain "game.org." The "realms.game.org" subdomain used for the MUD will only work until January, so he and the administration have asked people to use realmsofdespair.com to connect to the game. You can also still connect to the MUD using the IP address (216.251.47.10) if you so desire.

Please spread the word around to any other RoD players that you know who aren't frequent loggers. :)

Aside from a few MMQs and runs and a couple of inductions, it's been fairly quiet around the Sanctum this summer...

Though a *little* late, Arcanes would like to welcome Falennt as our new Deity Assistant. May Thoric have mercy on his soul. Recent inducts into the Order include Kaishae and Abby. Congratulations are in order for our new Lead Scout, Chylla!

Oh, and Nath is our sexy Council of Light leader. +100% damage bonus to everyone who groups with him, since he's so full of Charisma.
